Role Overview
Telemety is hiring a Multi-Agent AI / Machine Learning Engineer for Physical AI.
Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 annual depending on experience.
This role focuses on real-time, multi-sensor data fusion across LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GNSS, gaze tracking, and motion sensors, and on building agentic AI systems that coordinate perception, planning, and decision-making across multiple embodied agents.
You will work at the intersection of robotics, ML, systems engineering, and applied AI, building infrastructure that turns raw sensor streams into structured world models and actionable intelligence.
- What You’ll Work On - Agentic AI architectures that:
- Decompose perception and reasoning into cooperating agents
- Maintain shared world models
- Make decisions under uncertainty in real time
- Multi-sensor fusion pipelines for:
- LiDAR
- Vision (RGB / depth)
- IMU and kinematics
- GNSS / SLAM
- Gaze and human attention signals
This is a systems-first AI role, not a research-only position.

Required Qualifications4+ years experience in
- Machine learning
- Robotics software
- Sensor fusion
- or distributed AI systems
- Strong programming skills in:
- Python
- C++ (or strong willingness to work in C++)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Multi-sensor data (LiDAR, vision, IMU, GNSS)
- Real-time systems
- Solid understanding of:
- Probabilistic modeling
- State estimation
- Temporal data processing
- Experience with:
- ROS / ROS 2
- Linux-based robotics stacks
Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Agentic AI frameworks or tool-using LLM systems
- Multi-agent coordination
- SLAM, VIO, or tracking systems
- Edge AI deployment (Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT)
- Experience working with real hardware and field data
