A well-established, mission-driven fintech organization is seeking a Generative AI Solutions Architect to join its growing technology team. This company is investing heavily in enterprise-grade generative AI to transform complex, multi-source data into intelligent business applications used by nationwide financial services firms.

This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and influence. Sitting at the intersection of AI, data, and cloud architecture, this position plays a critical role in defining how generative AI solutions are designed, built, and scaled across the enterprise. This will be a hybrid onsite/remote position located in either Irvine or Ontario, California. As such, only candidates local to these areas will be considered.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused—someone who can partner with engineers, data specialists, and business leaders while driving technical decisions that directly shape production AI platforms.

General Responsibilities

Own the architecture and delivery of end-to-end generative AI solutions, from data ingestion through business-facing insights.
Design scalable, enterprise-ready AI architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry.
Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers into AI platforms and workflows.
Implement RAG architectures, vector search, and semantic search capabilities at scale.
Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs and microservices that expose AI functionality.
Partner closely with engineers and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals.
Lead proofs of concept and pilot deployments, helping transition successful experiments into production systems.

Required Experience

6+ years of solution architecture experience in enterprise cloud environments.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry (Microsoft Foundry).
3+ years working with AI/ML, LLMs, and generative AI in real-world applications.
3+ years building or integrating MCP servers.
Strong background in modern data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh, Delta Lake).
Proven experience designing and building APIs and microservices.

$145k-185k salary
