AI Solutions Architect

A well-established, mission-driven fintech organization is seeking a Generative AI Solutions Architect to join its growing technology team. This company is investing heavily in enterprise-grade generative AI to transform complex, multi-source data into intelligent business applications used by nationwide financial services firms.

This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role for someone who wants ownership, visibility, and influence. Sitting at the intersection of AI, data, and cloud architecture, this position plays a critical role in defining how generative AI solutions are designed, built, and scaled across the enterprise. This will be a hybrid onsite/remote position located in either Irvine or Ontario, California. As such, only candidates local to these areas will be considered.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused—someone who can partner with engineers, data specialists, and business leaders while driving technical decisions that directly shape production AI platforms.

General Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and delivery of end-to-end generative AI solutions, from data ingestion through business-facing insights.
• Design scalable, enterprise-ready AI architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry.
• Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers into AI platforms and workflows.
• Implement RAG architectures, vector search, and semantic search capabilities at scale.
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs and microservices that expose AI functionality.
• Partner closely with engineers and business stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals.
• Lead proofs of concept and pilot deployments, helping transition successful experiments into production systems.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of solution architecture experience in enterprise cloud environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry (Microsoft Foundry).
• 3+ years working with AI/ML, LLMs, and generative AI in real-world applications.
• 3+ years building or integrating MCP servers.
• Strong background in modern data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh, Delta Lake).
• Proven experience designing and building APIs and microservices.

Compensation Package

• $145k-185k salary
