Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive AI ethics principles, policies, and governance frameworks. Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for new AI products, features, and research initiatives. Provide expert guidance and consultation to AI development teams, product managers, and legal counsel on ethical considerations. Monitor and interpret evolving AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices globally. Design and deliver training programs on AI ethics and responsible AI practices to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, engineering, and product, to integrate ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle. Engage with external stakeholders, policymakers, and research communities to contribute to the broader discourse on AI ethics. Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of AI governance initiatives. Investigate and address ethical concerns or incidents related to AI systems. Contribute to thought leadership and publications on AI ethics and governance. Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field with a strong focus on AI ethics or technology governance. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI ethics, technology governance, responsible AI, or a related field. Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, and their societal implications. Proven experience in developing and implementing ethical frameworks, policies, and governance structures. Familiarity with global AI regulations and legal compliance issues. Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders. Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is highly preferred. Ability to navigate complex ethical dilemmas and provide practical, actionable solutions.
