Senior AI Ethics and Governance Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly specialized and forward-thinking Senior AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their innovative team. Responsibilities: Develop and implement AI ethics policies, guidelines, and best practices. Conduct ethical impact assessments for AI projects and identify potential risks and biases. Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to ensure responsible AI development. Provide guidance on AI governance, fairness, transparency, and accountability. Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics for internal stakeholders. Stay current with AI ethics research, regulatory developments, and industry trends. Contribute to thought leadership and external advocacy on responsible AI. Ensure AI systems align with company values and societal expectations. Advise on strategies to mitigate ethical risks in AI deployment. Qualifications: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, Public Policy, or a related field with a focus on AI ethics. 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or AI governance. Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and their societal implications. Familiarity with ethical frameworks, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AI Act), and bias mitigation techniques. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. Experience in policy development and stakeholder engagement. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
