Our client is at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into various consumer products and services and is seeking a highly motivated Senior AI Ethics and Governance Specialist to join their pioneering team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in shaping the ethical development and deployment of AI technologies, ensuring that our client's AI systems are fair, transparent, accountable, and aligned with societal values. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing AI ethics frameworks, guidelines, and policies; conducting risk assessments and impact analyses for new AI initiatives; and collaborating with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, engineers, legal counsel, and product managers to embed ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.

Key duties involve staying abreast of evolving AI ethics regulations, standards, and best practices globally; providing training and guidance to internal teams on responsible AI development; and acting as a key liaison with external stakeholders, industry bodies, and academic institutions on matters of AI ethics. You will also contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to monitor and audit AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, coupled with deep knowledge of ethical frameworks, philosophical principles, and relevant legal and regulatory landscapes. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively influence decision-making and foster a culture of responsible innovation.
