Your responsibilities will include researching and analyzing emerging trends in AI ethics, developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and future AI-specific laws), conducting risk assessments on AI models and algorithms, and collaborating with engineering, product, and legal teams to integrate ethical considerations into the entire AI lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating training materials and conducting workshops to educate internal stakeholders on AI ethics best practices. Furthermore, you will monitor regulatory landscapes globally, advise on potential legal and reputational risks, and contribute to the company's thought leadership in AI ethics. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, a deep knowledge of ethical principles, and a proven ability to translate complex regulations into actionable guidance. This role demands excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional communication abilities (both written and verbal), and the capacity to influence stakeholders across different departments. You will be a key advocate for responsible AI, ensuring our innovations align with societal values and ethical standards. Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Philosophy, or a related field. Proven experience in AI ethics, technology policy, compliance, or risk management. Solid understanding of AI/ML principles and applications. Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
