Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize generative AI models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other machine learning tools
• Implement unsupervised learning techniques to enhance model accuracy and adaptability for natural language processing tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems utilizing Java, Python, and SQL
• Conduct data mining and ETL processes to prepare large datasets from various sources including Hadoop, Spark, and linked data repositories
• Lead model training sessions, fine-tuning algorithms for improved performance and deployment readiness
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Talend, Bash scripts, and cloud services like AWS for efficient data processing
• Design database schemas and architecture to support AI models and analytics initiatives
• Deploy models into production environments ensuring robustness, security, and compliance with best practices in model deployment

Qualifications

• Proven experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch in developing generative models
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and automation tasks
• Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining, and analytics techniques for unstructured data analysis
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Hadoop ecosystem tools
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS for model training, deployment, and scaling AI applications
• Familiarity with database design principles using SQL or SAS for managing large datasets effectively
• Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is a plus but not required
• Ability to work with diverse datasets such as linked data sources or SAS datasets for comprehensive analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to innovation in AI solutions
