n8n and AI Integration Specialist for Complex Automation Project

We are seeking a professional with solid experience in n8n and system integrations to build a complex project in a local/self-hosted environment. The goal is to develop advanced automations, create a central dashboard, and integrate multiple AI components for story creation, artwork generation, comic/manga workflows, animation, and voice.

Project Objective

Develop an internal platform where users can

• Create stories similar to NovelAI.
• Generate illustrations, characters, and scenes with AI.
• Automatically break down a story into scenes, panels, and prompts for comic/manga generation.
• Produce full comic or manga pages.
• Generate animations using open-source video models.
• Add voices with Coqui TTS and perform lip-sync using tools like LipSync/LipSting.
• Manage the entire process through a clean, professional dashboard connected to n8n.

Scope of Work

1. n8n Setup & Integration

• Install and configure n8n in a local environment (Docker recommended).
• Build advanced workflows for text processing, narrative breakdown, prompt generation, AI interactions, and pipeline orchestration.
• Integrate internal APIs, local services, and open-source AI tools.
• Provide clear documentation for all workflows.

2. Dashboard Development

The dashboard must allow users to

• Create and manage stories.
• Edit and visualize characters, concepts, and visual assets.
• Generate illustrations and elements using AI.
• Automatically split stories into narrative and visual components.
• Convert scenes into structured prompts for comic/manga generation.
• Organize comic/manga pages and panel layouts.
• Trigger animation processes directly from the dashboard.
• Integrate voice generation (Coqui TTS) and lip-sync tools.
• Monitor and control the full pipeline in one interface.

3. AI Integrations (Local Only)

All systems must run locally with open-source models (no paid APIs):

• Text generation engine (NovelAI-style).
• Stable Diffusion / SDXL for illustrations, characters, and backgrounds.
• Visual consistency tools (LoRA, ControlNet, IP-Adapter).
• Automated narrative segmentation.
• Comic/manga generation pipeline.
• AI video/animation models (SVD, Hunyuan Video, AnimateDiff, etc.).
• Voice generation (Coqui TTS).
• Lip-sync tools such as LipSync/LipSting.

Candidate Profile

Required

• Proven experience with n8n.
• Strong experience with local/self-hosted environments and Docker.
• Ability to build complex and scalable automation workflows.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and integrations.
• Experience developing dashboards or admin panels.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and service orchestration.
• Clear and organized documentation practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or modern UI frameworks.
• Background in creative AI (text, image, or video).
