Experienced Trader + AI/Prompt Engineering Expert for Strategy Builder Tool (Backtrader)

We are looking for an experienced individual freelancer (no agencies) who has strong knowledge of trading concepts and AI-driven strategy generation. Our project is an AI-powered strategy builder where a user can describe their trading conditions in natural language. The system then asks clarifying questions and automatically generates Backtrader code, runs backtests, and displays all results visually on charts.

Around 80% of the development is already complete, but we are facing an issue where some trades are not being generated correctly. We need someone who deeply understands trading logic, indicators, order flows, and can identify what’s going wrong.

Requirements

Strong experience in algorithmic trading and technical indicators

Hands-on experience with Backtrader or similar backtesting frameworks

Good understanding of prompt engineering and LLM-based workflow generation

Ability to debug strategy logic and ensure accurate trade execution

Must be an independent freelancer (no agencies)

Must be willing to sign an NDA

Must have real-world trading experience (prop firm, intraday, swing, algo, etc.)

Payment Terms

No upfront payment

Payment will be released after the system works correctly and generates accurate trades end-to-end.
