AI Developer for AI Agent Bug Fix

Description

We’re looking for an experienced developer to help debug and fix issues in our AI Agent system that powers conversational and task automation features in our web application. The platform is built on Next.js with backend services in Node.js, and integrates with Firebase/Supabase for authentication, storage, and database management.

Scope of Work

Investigate and resolve bugs in the AI Agent’s reasoning and response logic.

Debug API call errors between the frontend (Next.js) and AI backend (OpenAI / custom ML endpoints).

Fix session handling and context persistence issues.

Optimize real-time data handling in Firebase/Supabase.

Ensure stability and reliability of the AI Agent under heavy usage.

Document fixes and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements

Strong expertise in Next.js, Node.js, and React.

Hands-on experience with Firebase and/or Supabase.

Solid background in integrating and debugging AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.).

Familiarity with async event handling, API rate limits, and caching strategies.

Ability to work quickly, identify root causes, and implement clean fixes.

Timeline

Short-term contract (3–5 days) for bug fixes and stability testing.

Budget

Hourly or fixed, depending on the scope after initial review.
