Generative AI Research Intern

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to drive innovative algorithmic advancements and put your ideas into practice on a large scale. Our internships typically last between twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks, with various start dates throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Develop cutting-edge generative AI algorithms and systems using deep learning techniques, focusing on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and stability of deployed algorithms as needed.
- Engage in research that pushes the envelope of intelligent machine technology.
- Conduct studies to improve the semantic understanding and training of generative models from data.
- Collaborate effectively with researchers and cross-functional teams, sharing research plans, updates, and outcomes.
- Share your research findings with the scientific community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in your employment country and maintain it throughout your internship.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C, or Java.
- Experience in building systems utilizing machine learning and/or deep learning methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intent to return to your degree program after the internship.
- Demonstrated success through grants, fellowships, patents, or significant publications at major conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and others.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning and training AI agents.
- Experience in team collaborations with excellent communication skills.
- Contributions to open-source projects in advancing AI techniques.
- Analytical problem-solving using quantitative approaches.
- Experience in conducting and analyzing ML experiments.
- Proficiency in handling complex, large-scale data from diverse sources.
- Ability to apply both theoretical and empirical research to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks.
Compensation
$7,650/month to $12,134/month plus benefits.
