Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable backend platforms to support both AI and non-AI applications.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define integration patterns for AI/ML models.
• Lead rapid prototyping and pilot testing of innovative solutions, transitioning successful projects into production.
• Ensure seamless integration between backend systems and AI platforms, utilizing modern integration patterns.
• Define and uphold programming and architectural standards, mentoring teams on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, continuously improving digital transformation processes.

<>Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in digital technology, including architecture and development.
• Proven expertise in backend architecture with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with scalable systems and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

<>Preferred Skills

• Experience in retail or high-scale consumer digital environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model serving and integration platforms like Vertex AI or Databricks.
• Understanding of observability, telemetry, and AI governance best practices.
• Experience with intelligent automation frameworks and conversational AI.
