Content and AI Compliance Specialist
GoogleIn this role, you will lead and elevate Google's compliance program, collaborating across the organization and influencing all levels to build and manage compliance initiatives. You will track, report on, and manage these initiatives from start to finish, including defining objectives, establishing metrics, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting. Experience with enterprise-wide or cross-functional project planning and execution is also required. Preferred qualifications for this Content and AI Compliance Specialist position include a Master's degree or PhD in Law, Business, Compliance, or a related field. Google values candidates who can bring structure to ambiguous situations, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and can analyze fragmented information to develop recommendations and solutions. An understanding of compliance program management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and internal control frameworks is highly desirable. The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, management, regulators, and external stakeholders, and to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, is also preferred. Key responsibilities for the Content and AI Compliance Specialist include architecting and implementing a compliance and risk management program tailored to Google's specific needs and regulatory environment. You will also develop a set of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the program's effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. A crucial part of the role involves partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization to embed compliance and risk management principles directly into business processes, ensuring proactive risk mitigation. Finally, you will prepare and deliver regular reports to management, providing insights into the program's overall status, emerging risks, compliance performance, and recommended next steps.
