Computer Vision Engineer

Event Capture Systems Inc. specializes in developing cutting-edge solutions for automated video and image capture at live events. They are seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for intelligent video capture systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy computer vision models for real-time video processing.
• Design algorithms for object detection, tracking, segmentation, and pose estimation.
• Integrate machine learning models into production pipelines.
• Optimize performance of computer vision systems for latency and accuracy.
• Work with multi-camera systems and sensor fusion techniques.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams to bring features from concept to deployment.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and iterate on solutions using real-world event data.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision or related domains.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Solid understanding of image processing, 3D geometry, and camera calibration.
• Familiarity with real-time systems and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with multi-view geometry and structure-from-motion.
• Knowledge of SLAM, AR/VR technologies, or video analytics.
• Prior work with edge devices or embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Intel RealSense).
• Contributions to open-source vision projects or publications in top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.).
