Prompt Engineer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Prompt Engineer to join their team, focusing on training and improving AI models. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring AI chatbot progress, evaluating their logic, and problem-solving to enhance model quality. Key responsibilities include giving AI chatbots coding challenges and evaluating their outputs, as well as evaluating the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance. To succeed as a Prompt Engineer, you will need fluency in English (native or bilingual level) and a detail-oriented approach to tasks. Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows is essential. You must be proficient in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift to solve coding problems, similar to those found on LeetCode or HackerRank. Crucially, you must be able to clearly explain how your coding solutions solve specific problems. While a current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred, it is not required. This is a full-time or part-time REMOTE independent contract position with DataAnnotation, offering significant flexibility. You will have the ability to choose which projects you work on and set your own schedule. Projects are paid hourly, starting at $40+ USD, with additional bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work. Payments are made via PayPal, which handles any currency conversions from USD. It's important to note that only applicants located in the United States will be considered for this role, and DataAnnotation will never ask for any money from applicants.
