The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

About The Role

We areseekinga highly skilled and motivated SeniorData and ML Engineer with a strong focus onMLOpsto join ourDataPlatformEngineering team, focusing on developing and implementing robustDataEngineeringandMachine Learning Operations (MLOps) practices. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, andmaintainingscalable and reliable infrastructure for the entireMachine learningand GenAIlifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment and monitoring. You will work withcutting-edgecloud technologies, specificallyleveragingthe power ofAWS SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, andSnowflakeDataPlatformto drive innovation in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement ML Pipelines:Lead the design,Build, and maintenance of end-to-end automatedMLopspipelinesforcontinuoustesting,traininganddeploymentof ML models.
• OptimizeML Workloads:OptimizeAI/MLworkloads and build scalable systems using a variety of AWS services, includingAmazon SageMaker(for model development, training, and deployment),Amazon Bedrock(for integrating generative AI and large language models), S3, Lambda, and others.
• Manage Data Integration:Collaborate with data scientists and data engineersto design and implement ETL/ELT processes to structure and format data into suitable data warehouses or data lakes for analysis and model training.
• Monitoring and Maintenance:Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting forproductionAI/ML systems to track performance, resourceutilization,error rates, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaboration & Governance:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists,Dataengineers, and business analysts, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance principles.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's orMaster's degree inComputerScience, Engineering,Data science, or a related technical field.
• 15+ yearsofITexperiencewith 10+years of experienceinDataEngineering, MLengineering, orMLOpsrole.
• Proven experience using cloud technologies, with significant hands-on experiencein AWSData & AI services and Snowflake Dataplatform.
• StrongbackgroundandexperienceinleveragingMLOpsplatforms(MLflow,Kubeflow,Sagemaker)and ML CI/CD workflows to manage the ML lifecycle.
• Proficiencyin programming languages likePythonorPySpark.
• StrongHandsonexperiencewithAmazon SageMakerfor MLandAmazonBedrockfor generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks (e.g., ApacheNiFi, Airflow, Talend,dbt, AWS Glue)
• Expertisein big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks)and Clouddatawarehouses( Snowflake,Redshift,BigQuery)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passionforworkingwithcutting-edgetechnologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within across-functional team.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $135,000 to $190,000 at the commencement of employment for the Jersey City, NJ area. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Houston, TX or Jersey City, NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
