Job Summary

The AI Researcher - Support & Innovation is responsible for hands-on experimentation and applied research aimed at advancing AI capabilities within the organization.

This role focuses on prototyping, evaluation, and collaboration with engineering teams to translate research insights into production-ready recommendations.

The position sits at the intersection of research and applied engineering, driving innovation through rigorous experimentation and continuous exploration of emerging AI techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and prototype machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI techniques.
• Build reproducible Python-based experimentation pipelines.
• Design and execute evaluation frameworks for models and experimental approaches.
• Analyze research results and translate findings into actionable production recommendations.
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to operationalize successful prototypes.
• Stay current with academic advancements and industry trends to guide research direction.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
• Strong Python skills and experience conducting ML experimentation.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience with experiment tracking, reproducibility, and scientific research workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Applied research experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Publications, research contributions, or demonstrated innovation in applied AI.
