Role Overview

Are you an innovative AI Architect looking to shape the AI-first future for strategic clients? We are seeking a visionary professional to design and implement Generative and Agentic AI ecosystems at Cognizant. This role combines strategic advisory, hands-on solution development, and practice advancement to facilitate enterprise-wide transformation.

In this impactful position, you will collaborate with executive leaders to define AI strategies, develop scalable platforms, and deliver tailored AI solutions across diverse industries, including Banking, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing. Your expertise will drive our clients’ AI initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular, cloud-native AI platforms integrating advanced models and multi-agent orchestration while ensuring compliance and security.
• Lead high-level engagements to craft AI roadmaps and investment strategies, serving as the lead architect for key client accounts.
• Deliver customized AI use cases tailored to specific verticals.
• Oversee model development phases inclusive of data preparation, training, and deployment optimization.
• Establish enterprise-grade CI/CD processes, ensure monitoring, observability, and compliance, and build governance frameworks for AI lifecycle management.
• Build and guide high-performing AI teams, mentor peers, and support hiring initiatives.
• Collaborate with tech giants and startups to co-create offerings and influence technological roadmaps.
• Publish insightful white papers and represent Cognizant at industry events and forums.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT and enterprise architecture, with a strong engineering foundation (Java/.NET preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, including at least 1 year focused on Generative & Agentic AI.
• Deep knowledge of model training techniques and MLOps.
• Architect-level certifications from at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven track record in senior advisory roles related to AI across executive levels.
• Understanding of AI governance frameworks.
• Strong leadership experience in mentoring and developing cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Publications or patents in Agentic AI or LLMOps.
• Recognized as a thought leader in industry discussions.
• Expertise in specific industry domains.
• Experience with AgentOps and AI observability tools.

Salary and Compensation

This role includes an annual salary range of $120K-$165K, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, it is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
