Role Overview

We’re seeking an AI & Machine Learning Engineer (Junior) to join our engineering team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work under and report directly to our Lead Engineers and CEO, contributing to the development, deployment, and refinement of AI-powered solutions that directly impact client growth.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, CRO strategy, and data teams to turn business challenges into scalable AI-driven features. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn from experienced leaders while applying AI in real-world, revenue-driving scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building, testing, and deploying AI and ML features for ClickMint’s optimization platform.
• Work with lead engineers to integrate models (LLMs, recommendation systems, predictive analytics) into production workflows.
• Collaborate with the CEO to align AI initiatives with product vision and company goals.
• Write clean, maintainable code—primarily in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Integrate APIs from major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento) and analytics tools.
• Prepare and process structured and unstructured datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Monitor AI system performance, detect anomalies, and assist in troubleshooting.
• Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one additional language (JavaScript preferred).
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data handling.
• Solid problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and contributing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Internship or project experience in AI/ML development.
• Experience with e-commerce or marketing analytics data.
• Exposure to LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock).
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
