📝 Rquirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields along with 3 years of experience in developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies, or a Masters degree in a similar field with 1 year of experience
• At least 3 years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java
• 4 years of deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred)
• Experience in developing, delivering, and supporting AI services (preferred)
• Proficiency in AI and ML algorithms or technologies including LLM Inference and Similarity Search using languages like Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang (preferred)
• Capability to apply advanced techniques for optimizing training and inference software

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to develop AI-driven products that transform our associates work and enhance customer interactions
• Design, create, test, implement, and maintain AI software components including foundation model training and large language model inference
• Utilize a variety of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters and PyTorch
• Innovate and apply cutting-edge LLM optimization methods to enhance performance metrics like scalability and throughput of large-scale AI systems
• Contribute to the creation of the technical vision and long-term strategy for foundational AI systems at Capital One
