Full Stack Engineer - (AI / Autonomous Systems) - San Francisco -Onsite

A venture-backed applied AI lab is hiring a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to build the core systems behind next-generation autonomous agents. This is a 0→1 role for someone who wants to work hands-on with cutting-edge LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and greenfield infrastructure.

What you’ll work on

• Designing and shipping full-stack systems that power autonomous growth agents — from analysis to content to execution
• Building backend orchestration layers, event-driven workflows, and scalable data pipelines
• Developing front-end and generative interfaces that enable agents to run experiments, generate creative assets, and optimise performance
• Working directly with founders on core architecture, product direction, and technical vision
• Owning features end-to-end in a product that already has real customers and revenue

We’re looking for

• 3–5+ years of full-stack engineering (FAANG or top-tier startup experience is great)
• Deep TypeScript experience across Next.js, React, Node.js, and Postgres
• Strong systems design skills and comfort with fast iteration cycles
• Curiosity about AI agents, LLM reasoning, and automated workflows
• A bias for action and someone who thrives in small, high-velocity teams
