Senior Generative AI Engineer

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Senior Generative AI Engineer in New York, USA. Lead generative AI product development at APPIT Software in New York, architecting enterprise-grade LLM systems with advanced RAG, fine-tuning, and multimodal capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead development of enterprise generative AI platforms
• Design sophisticated RAG systems with hybrid search and re-ranking strategies
• Lead fine-tuning initiatives using RLHF, DPO, and parameter-efficient methods
• Build evaluation frameworks for generative AI quality, safety, and reliability
• Drive technical decisions on model selection, hosting, and optimization
• Collaborate with enterprise clients to design custom AI solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of ML engineering experience with 2+ years focused on generative AI
• Deep expertise in LLM architectures, fine-tuning, and inference optimization
• Experience building production RAG systems with complex retrieval pipelines
• Strong knowledge of RLHF, DPO, LoRA, QLoRA, and other alignment techniques
• Proficiency with cloud AI services and GPU cluster management
• Track record of shipping generative AI features to production at scale

Nice to Have

• Experience with multimodal models (vision-language, audio-language)
• Knowledge of AI safety and red-teaming methodologies
• Published research in generative AI
