Generative AI Product Owner

## Company Overview

AIG is a leading global insurance organization providing property casualty insurance and other financial services in approximately 190 countries and jurisdictions. This role is part of a new, innovative Generative AI team at AIG focused on exploring how artificial intelligence can be applied in insurance and beyond to transform risk management and customer service.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and communicate that vision to the team, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Oversee all stages of the product development process, from roadmap and backlog creation to delivery.
  • Build and maintain the product roadmap and product backlog with the team.
  • Prioritize features and user stories efficiently to align with customer needs and business value.
  • Ensure user stories are ready for development with supporting documents, wireframes, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work alongside users to understand their needs and monitor user reaction to new releases.
  • Take responsibility for product realization and ensure business value is achieved from product capabilities.

## Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a product owner in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and processes.
  • Technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise.
  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • Generative AI (Gen. AI) experience preferred.
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
