Senior AI Risk and Governance Analyst

Description

• Maintains awareness of emerging trends related to the use of AI, security, data protection, privacy, and AI laws and compliance frameworks
• Assists in implementation of a robust governance framework for AI systems aligned with ethical, regulatory, and corporate standards
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish governance protocols to manage risk throughout the AI lifecycle
• Establishes and reports on key performance metrics for AI use and risk management, balancing data utility with privacy, security, legal and regulatory requirements
• Administers and facilitates a multidisciplinary AI governance committee representing stakeholders across multiple domains
• Assists in developing comprehensive training programs to raise awareness and educate the organization on best practices for using AI
• Engages with cross functional risk pillar leads to deliver a comprehensive risk mitigation strategy to enable high-value AI use cases
• Reports on implementation maturity status of the AI Governance Program to senior leadership
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
• 4+ years of job-related work experience
• Strong knowledge of information security and privacy policies, controls, and standards
• Familiarity with distributed and network infrastructure, databases, and cloud computing technologies
• Experience with model risk management and data governance
• Working knowledge of information security related laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., FFIEC, GLBA, HIPAA, SOX, ITGC, NYDFS, NAIC, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, NAIC AI Bulletin)
• Ability to translate requirements into enterprise-wide regulatory compliance and risk management processes
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and ethical considerations related to AI
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and manage multiple priorities

• Software Evaluation; Development Life Cycle for Software; Development Methodology and Procedures
• Content Management & Semantic Technologies; Definition of Metrics and Measurement

• Experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, IAPP/US, Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP), etc.
